Gwen Coburn

Gwen Coburn is a comedian, actor, singer, teacher, and dog enthusiast. She performs as a member of the ImprovBoston National Touring Company and the Boston-based shakespearean improv cast Something Wicked. She received her Masters in Music from The Boston Conservatory, and now produces the monthly show Music Comedy Night. Her solo show, Sad Girl Songs, premiered at the 2019 SOLOCOM festival at the PIT and can be seen at the 2021 Women In Comedy Festival. In addition to the Improvising Shakespeare Intro Course she also teaches Acting for the Improviser. Gwen believes improvisation offers actors the chance to deepen emotional grounding, active listening, and a sense of play.
